Arduino Uno Project (2020)
Not surprisingly inspired by one of the projects in one of the Chumbaka textbooks. I found the way the LED lights diffuse in a straw was very interesting. In the books, we typically use the microphone from the PC for the sound's input.
But I wanted something portable, rather than always powered to the PC, so I decided to use the electret microphones at the Digital Maker Hub.
Also as usual, not straying far from my side goal to fascinate the kids who visit the hub, I decided to also add a touch of Hatsune Miku and cats, and use up some of the washi lying around in the dark corners of a cupboard in my home.
The design of the box, to be able to fit a handphone took waaaaay longer than the circuit and code itself.
You may hear some kids shouting and clapping near the microphone if they want to see the LEDs response.
But sadly the city kids are usually too shy to sing any song near the project.
Well, would you?
