The Lotus LED Mixer is one of my very first projects, so its a baby project that I am quite proud off!

At one point during the early parts of my journey as an educator in STEM, I wanted students to think a bit more creatively, rather than seeing LEDs and the components they are learning as just components to learn by the book, but to see what else you can make with just basic components.

So I thought, why not I do something with basic components? Combine it with something that can be made with everyday items, like paper, cardboard, and a little origami?

This relatively simple project, has actually travelled to many schools and STEM exhibitions, allowing parents to teach their little ones about mixing colours, and also of course course for kids to try it out and be fascinated and curious by the colours.
